Souper Bowl Melissa Hodous Melissahodous@gmail.com Description Creekside's biggest fundraiser! Held the first Sunday in May. Includes a soup-based meal,painted bowls to eat the meal out of, silent auction, live auction, raffle, games and crafts for kids, entertainment by students and teachers. A community-wide event. See creeksidePTO.org for more info. Approx. benefit is $20,000. Parent Action Required Contact Alissa in December if interested in being on a committee or donating goods/services for auction. Volunteers needed 10 committee chairs, two additional per committee bi-weekly meetings January – April. Approx. 15 on day of event Innisbrook contact: Lynn Cleeland lmcleeland@gmail.com Description A Fall fundraiser that relies on students and parents selling the various items offered by Innisbrook. The items include gift wrap, chocolates, soaps, and more. An easy website allows out-of-town family and friends to support the school. See the link on the PTO website. Volunteers needed 1 -2 to help distribute orders as they come in. A variety of books are offered at good prices which in turn allows us to earn free books and coupons to help purchase more books. See the link on the PTO website. Bands to be determined. Approx. benefit is $5,100. Parent Action Required Attend the concerts, have fun! Volunteers needed 2 to help with event planning and ticket sales 3 on the day of the concert Mandarin Orange Sales contact: Kat Smolen hydrorestoration@yahoo.com Description A fall fundraiser that sources organic mandarin oranges from a farm in the foothills of Placer County. Orders are placed for the mandarins and Creekside sells them to local families. Also adding a spring berry crop for Spring 2014. Approx. benefit is $1,500. Parent Action Required Distribute order forms for sales, purchase fruit boxes. Volunteers Needed 1-2 to help with fruit distribution. Fish Taco Night/Raffle Sunnyside Restaurant contact: Lynn Cleeland lmcleeland@gmail.com Description A fun night at Sunnyside, open to the public. A portion of all food/beverage and raffle ticket sales are donated to Creekside! Sunnyside provides food, drink and raffle prizes, Creekside is responsible for selling raffle tickets and “manning” raffle ticket table at event. Approx. benefit is $1,000. Parent Action Required Attend event at Sunnyside, eat, drink and buy raffle tickets! Volunteers needed 3-4 to man raffle ticket booth at event 1 to promote event and create flyer ESCRIP contact: Wendy Ackermann wendyackermann@att.net Description An ongoing fundraiser that relies on parents presenting the escrip card when buying items from Safeway and many other vendors listed on the escrip website. See the link on the PTO website. (CreeksidePTO.org) Approx. benefit is unlimited, based on spending. Parent Action Required Go to escrip.com and sign up for a Safeway card or link a credit card so that when it is used at the participating retailers, Creekside will earn a percentage of the amount spent. Volunteers needed everyone! Shares Card Contact:Wendy Ackermann wendyackermann@att.net Description An ongoing fundraiser that earns money from each purchase at Save Mart when the Shares card is presented before checking out at the grocery store. Approx. benefit is unlimited, based on spending. Parent Action Required Contact Wendy when school starts in late Summer/ Early Fall to receive a Shares Card Volunteers needed everyone!
